He or she helps in the administrative and technical management of the Consortium under the presiding authority of the Board of Administration and of the Executive Committee.
He or she is in charge of all services. (S)he puts agreements and resolutions into practice. (S)he proposes whatever measure (s)he sees fit to the Board of Administration, to the Executive Commission, and to the Chairmanship.
His or her office is the organ of communication and public relations for the privately administered Company, Metro Bilbao S.A., and is a part of its Board of Administration; (s)he directs and coordinates the elaboration of superstructure project works for the Bilbao Metropolitan Rail Network, etc.
